Kristina Ruggeri joined Argus Research back in 2019, and she’s been making her mark ever since. In her role, she keeps a close eye on selected Consumer Discretionary and Consumer Staples stocks, bringing with her almost two decades of expertise in the financial services industry. Kristina kicked off her career at Price Waterhouse, where she cut her teeth auditing asset managers, broker-dealers, and banks. She then moved on to J.P. Morgan for a stint as a financial analyst.
By 1994, Kristina was making waves at Bankers Trust Company, where she took charge of the day-to-day operations for several equity derivative funds. She also rolled out tools aimed at managing risks more effectively and streamlining workflow processes. Before finding her current path at Argus, Kristina was a Senior Director at S&P Global. There, she spearheaded competitive intelligence and market research efforts, working on strategies to gain deeper insights into client needs.
On the academic front, Kristina holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, complemented by a minor in Spanish from Bucknell University. She also earned her MBA in Finance from NYU’s Stern School of Business and achieved her credentials as a Certified Public Accountant. Adding to her impressive portfolio, she’s a certified teacher in New Jersey, dedicating some of her time to working with students in elementary and middle school.
