Many people imagine that HDB flats on higher floors tend to be more expensive, usually because of the allure of better views or increased privacy. However, HDB residents can be quite down-to-earth. During our exchanges with homeowners and readers, several have mentioned the inconvenience of extended elevator rides or feeling a bit cut off from the rest of the community on the top floors. Yet, there’s no denying that some buyers are still very much interested in units situated on higher levels.
With these differing views in mind, we thought it was about time to conduct an in-depth analysis. We’re mindful, though, of certain data limitations. While HDB flats might appear quite similar at first glance, they can differ greatly in terms of location, age, amenities, and views, among other factors.
