Investors on Wall Street have been on edge about the potential impact of various tariffs on U.S. imports, which might rekindle inflation. This concern could negatively affect the government-debt market and subsequently drive interest rates upward. However, Tuesday saw mostly lower Treasury yields, with the 10-year rate dipping to 4.573%, hitting its lowest point since December 30, as reported by FactSet.
