I recently spent nine wonderful days in Da Nang, Vietnam. Typically, we hold our Providend/Havend retreat at the beginning of the year, but this time, it was pushed to just after the new year began. The retreat lasted 4.5 days, and upon Yong Cheng’s recommendation, I decided to extend my stay to include a two-day, one-night homestay and hike in the secluded region of Bach Ma. After that adventure, I enjoyed a relaxing three-day break in the vibrant city of Da Nang.
We were quite lucky with the weather for most of our retreat—only one day wasn’t in our favor. That was the day we visited the picturesque Ba Na Hills. Jayla did a fantastic job capturing our mix of challenges and triumphs as we contended with the weather, which seemed to be everyone’s objective that day.
