With the rapid pace at which 2024 has flown by, it’s hard to believe we’re already at the year’s end. As we wrap things up, I’d love to share a glance at how my passive income journey has unfolded.
In the last quarter of the year, spanning from October to December, I saw several dividends become the cornerstone of my passive income. Here’s how it all broke down:
– On October 1st, I received $147.50 from SSB in my SRS, and another $303.00 from SSB.
– October 17th brought in $399.72 from CICT.
– November was quite a fruitful month: $612.19 from SSB on the 1st, $270.00 from Guocoland by the 19th, and both $540.54 and $162.00 from DBS on November 25th, with the latter going into my SRS. Additionally, I received $187.15 from Astrea 7 A-1 PE Bond on November 27th, and $79.00 from Suntec Reit the following day. November concluded with $722.40 from Frasers Centrepoint Trust and $134.00 from Netlink Trust on the 29th.
– December kicked off with $489.22 from SSB on the 2nd, followed by $396.00 from MPACT on the 6th. Mid-December saw $436.87 from Mapletree Log Trust on the 17th through DRP, along with a hefty $996.00 from Frasers L&C Trust. December 18th added $514.12 from Mapletree Ind Trust via DRP, and I wrapped up the month with $840.00 from Aims Apac Reit on Christmas Eve.
Altogether, these add up to a tidy sum of $7,229.71 for this quarter alone.
For the first nine months of 2024, my passive income totaled $24,516.32. Thus, my entire passive income for the year comes to $31,746.03. This marks an impressive 16% increase over the $27,304.87 I generated in 2023.
I had set a goal of $28,000 for 2024, and it’s heartening to see that I’ve surpassed that aim, which energizes me as I look forward to planning for the future.
